Rice flour
½ cup
Jowar flour
2 Tbsps
Gram flour
2 Tbsps
Wheat flour
1½ cup
Water
2 Tbsps
Oil
1 tsp
Green chilies
(crushed, or to taste)
1 tsp
Ginger
(crushed)
½ tsp
Garlic
(crushed)
1 cup
Green tuvar
(boiled, lightly flatten with a masher)
1½ tsp
Salt
(or to taste)
1 tsp
Ground coriander/cumin mix
1 Tbsp
Sugar
1 tsp
Cumin seeds
½ tsp
Turmeric
2 tsps
Raw peanuts
(ground)
1 tsp
Sesame seeds
Oil
(for frying)
Instructions

Mix the flours together in a bowl, set aside.

Heat water in a large saucepan, add the remaining ingredients and stir.

As it boils, carefully add the flour and mix well.

Make sure there are no lumps.

Cook covered on low heat, stir often.

The mixture should form a soft dough when all the water is absorbed and the dough is cooked (about 25 minutes),

Empty into a wide dish, let cool to warm.

Knead dough to smooth.

Divide into 25 equal size balls and flatten between hands to form 2 inch discs.

Heat oil and deep-fry on medium heat until golden brown and crisp.

Remove and drain on a paper towel.
