Ingredients
  • Onions (thinly sliced)
  • Cabbage ((shredded)
  • Bell peppers (thinly sliced)
  • Cauliflower (small florets)
  • Carrots (grated)
  • Potatoes (thinly sliced)
  • Green beans (thinly sliced)
  • Peas
  • Spinach (cut ribbons, optional)
  • Green coriander (finely chopped, as needed)
  • Gram flour (as needed)
Instructions
  1. For every 4 cups of mixed vegetables of your choice, add approximately 1½ cups of gram flour.

  • 1½ tsp Salt (or to taste )
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ⅛ tsp Asafoetida (hing)
  • ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ¼ tsp Garlic (crushed)
  • 2 Green chillies (chopped to taste)
  • Oil (for frying)
Instructions
  1. Add the spices and mix forming a thick, sticky coating. Sprinkle water as needed to help bind.
  2. Heat oil on medium heat and drop clumps of pakora, deep-fry until golden brown.
  3. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
