Vegetable Pakora
Ingredients
- Onions (thinly sliced)
- Cabbage ((shredded)
- Bell peppers (thinly sliced)
- Cauliflower (small florets)
- Carrots (grated)
- Potatoes (thinly sliced)
- Green beans (thinly sliced)
- Peas
- Spinach (cut ribbons, optional)
- Green coriander (finely chopped, as needed)
- Gram flour (as needed)
Instructions
- For every 4 cups of mixed vegetables of your choice, add approximately 1½ cups of gram flour.

- 1½ tsp Salt (or to taste )
- 1 tsp Red chili powder (or to taste)
- ½ tsp Ground black pepper
- 1 tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ⅛ tsp Asafoetida (hing)
- ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
- ¼ tsp Garlic (crushed)
- 2 Green chillies (chopped to taste)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Add the spices and mix forming a thick, sticky coating. Sprinkle water as needed to help bind.
- Heat oil on medium heat and drop clumps of pakora, deep-fry until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
