Ingredients
  • 1 cup Thick pauva
  • 1 cup Mashed potato (2 medium potatoes)
  • 2 tbsps Rice flour
  • ¼ cup Onions (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup Carrot (grated)
  • 2 tbsps Peas (boiled)
  • ¼ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed o taste)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ¼ tsp Garlic (crushed)
  • ¾ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Amchur powder
  • ½ tsp Red chili flakes
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • Oil (for frying)
Instructions
  1. Wash and soak the pauva in cold water for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain and squeeze hard to remove water.
  3. Place in a dish and knead a little to mash.
  4. Combine the potato and add the remaining ingredients, mix well.
  5. Divide dough into 10 equal parts and shape into round or oval shaped ¼ inch thick patties.
  6. Shallow fry on medium heat to evenly golden.
  7. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
