Onion Pakora
Ingredients
- 1 large Red onion (thinly sliced)
- ¾ cup Gram flour
- ¼ cup Rice flour
- 1 tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ¾ tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
- ¼ tsp Garam masala
- ¾ tsp Red chili powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ½ tsp Raw fennel seeds (crushed)
- 1 Green chili (chopped or to taste)
- 2 tsps Ginger (grated)
- 2 tbsps Green coriander (finely chopped)
- 6 Curry leaves (limdi finely chopped )
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, squeeze as you mix to release onion juice to help bind.
- Heat oil on medium-high heat and drop handfuls of mixture in heated oil.
- Deep-fry until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
