Ingredients
  • 9 Jalapeno peppers (large)
  • 1 cup Pakora batter (recipe under Basic Pakoa Batter)
  • Oil (for frying)
Stuffing
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mashed potato (2 medium potatoes)
  • 2 tsps Desiccated coconut
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Cumin seeds
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Lemon juice
  • ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp Green coriander (finely chopped)
Instructions
  1. Combine the stuffing ingredients.
  2. Wash the peppers and pat dry, slit lengthwise on one side.
  3. Carefully remove the seeds and veins, keep stem intact.
  4. Fill with the prepared stuffing, do not overfill.
  5. Heat oil on medium-high heat.
  6. Dip the stuffed peppers in medium consistency batter, coat completely and deep-fry in hot oil until golden.
  7. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
