Ingredients
  • 1 cup Finely cracked wheat
  • 4 tsps Oil
  • 2 cups Water
  • Powdered sugar (to taste)
  • Melted ghee
  • Tulsi leaves (holy basil)
Instructions
  1. In a nonstick saucepan put water and 1 tsp oil, bring to a boil.
  2. Rub wheat with 3 tsp oil and add to water, stir and cover.
  3. Add wheat to water, stir and cover.
  4. Reduce heat to very low. Stir occasionally until soft and done.
  5. All water should be absorbed when cooked. Add more water if needed.
  6. Empty into a serving dish, sprinkle desired amount of sugar and ghee.
  7. Garnish with tulsi.
