Green Peas Patties
Ingredients
- 1 cup Green peas (boiled and crushed)
- ¼ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup Desiccated coconut
- ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed to taste)
- ½ tsp Garlic (crushed)
- ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
- ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- 2 tsps Sugar (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp Garam masala
- ½ tsp Lemon juice
- 2 tsps Oil
Instructions
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.
- Sauté the peas along with the remaining ingredients and stir for a couple of minutes.
- Remove from heat, let cool.
Dough
Ingredients
- 2 cups Mashed potatoes (4 medium potatoes)
- ¼ cup Gram flour
- 2 Slices bread (ground)
- 2 tbsps Green coriander (finely chopped)
- ¾ tsp Salt
Instructions
- Combine the dough ingredients and knead to form a dough.
- Take a tablespoon of dough and flatten by hand, into a 3 inch round circle.
- Place a teaspoonful of the peas mixture in the center and bring the edges up to seal.
- Gently roll between hands to make a smooth ball, flatten slightly.
- Prepare all the patties.
- Heat the oil on medium-high heat and deep-fry until golden.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
