Ingredients
  • 1 cup Green peas (boiled and crushed)
  • ¼ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup Desiccated coconut
  • ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed to taste)
  • ½ tsp Garlic (crushed)
  • ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • 2 tsps Sugar (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsps Oil
Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.
  2. Sauté the peas along with the remaining ingredients and stir for a couple of minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, let cool.
Dough
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Mashed potatoes (4 medium potatoes)
  • ¼ cup Gram flour
  • 2 Slices bread (ground)
  • 2 tbsps Green coriander (finely chopped)
  • ¾ tsp Salt
Instructions
  1. Combine the dough ingredients and knead to form a dough.
  2. Take a tablespoon of dough and flatten by hand, into a 3 inch round circle.
  3. Place a teaspoonful of the peas mixture in the center and bring the edges up to seal.
  4. Gently roll between hands to make a smooth ball, flatten slightly.
  5. Prepare all the patties.
  6. Heat the oil on medium-high heat and deep-fry until golden.
  7. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
