Bread Pakora
Ingredients
- 2 slices Bread (edges trimmed)
- Butter
- Green coriander chutney (recipe under "chutneys, pickles, etc.")
- 1 cup Basic pakora batter (recipe under "snacks and light meals")
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Butter the bread slices, spread a thick layer of chutney on both slices and form a sandwich.
- Cut into four squares or four triangles.
- Heat oil on medium-high, dip prepared bread in batter. Coat completely and place in heated oil.
- Deep-fry until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
