Stuffed Corn Patties

Ingredients
- 1 cup Corn kernels (boiled)
- ¼ cup Onion (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed to taste)
- ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
- ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp Sugar
- ¼ tsp Garam masala
- 2 tbsps Cheese (grated)
Instructions
- Mix together the corn and the remaining ingredients.
- Divide into ten equal balls.
Dough
Ingredients
- 1½ cup Mashed potatoes (3 medium potatoes)
- ¼ cup Gram flour
- 1 Slice bread (ground)
- ½ tsp Salt
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Combine the dough ingredients and knead to form a dough.
- Divide into twenty equal parts.
- Take one part of dough and flatten by hand, into a 2 inch round circle (puri).
- Make a second puri.
- Place one filling ball in the center of the puri and cover with the second puri.
- Press edges to seal.
- Repeat with the remainder.
- Heat the oil on medium-high heat and deep-fry the patties until golden.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
