Garbanzo/Black Bean Burger

Ingredients
- 1 can Garbanzo beans (15 oz substitute Black beans)
- ⅓ cup Carrot (grated)
- ⅓ cup Red onion (chopped)
- ¼ cup Green coriander (chopped)
- ⅓ cup Red bell pepper (chopped)
- ⅓ cup Corn kernels (boiled)
- 2 cloves Garlic (chopped)
- ¼ cup Bread crumbs
- ¼ cup Flax seeds (ground)
- ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp Red chili powder (or to taste)
- ½ tsp Ground cumin
- Oil (for cooking)
- 2 Bread buns (for serving)
- Condiments (of your choice)
- Salad (of your choice)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine beans, carrots, onions, coriander, bell pepper, corn and garlic.
- Grind to a very coarse texture.
- Empty into a bowl and add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Make two thick bun size patties.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a frypan on medium.
- Place the patties and let cook for about 5 minutes on each side.
- Drizzle more oil as needed.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
- Serve on buns with condiments and salad.
