Ingredients
  • 2 slices Bread (edges trimmed)
  • Butter
  • Green coriander chutney (recipe under "chutneys, pickles, etc.")
  • 1 cup Basic pakora batter (recipe under "snacks and light meals")
  • Oil (for frying)
Instructions
  1. Butter the bread slices, spread a thick layer of chutney on both slices and form a sandwich.
  2. Cut into four squares or four triangles.
  3. Heat oil on medium-high, dip prepared bread in batter. Coat completely and place in heated oil.
  4. Deep-fry until golden brown.
  5. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
