Potato Crescents

Filling
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mashed potatoes (2 medium potatoes)
- 1 tsp Green chilies (crushed to taste)
- ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
- ½ tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
- ¼ tsp Chaat masala
- ¼ tsp Garam masala
- ¼ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ⅛ tsp Turmeric
- 2 tbsps Green coriander (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsps Cornstarch

- Mix all the ingredients and set aside.
Crust
Ingredients
- ½ cup All purpose flour
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tsps Oil
Instructions
- Mix and make semi hard dough using cold water.
- Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 10 minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll dough into about a 9 inch circle.
- Spread potato mixture on top, leaving 3 inch circle empty in the middle.
- Dab mixture evenly all around.
- Cut 16 triangles like pizza. Wet the empty area with water.
- Starting on the top wide edge, roll up the triangle to the center.
- Press down the sticky point.
- Repeat with the remaining triangles and deep-fry on medium heat until golden.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
