Filling
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mashed potatoes (2 medium potatoes)
  • 1 tsp Green chilies (crushed to taste)
  • ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ½ tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • ¼ tsp Chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • ¼ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsps Green coriander (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsps Cornstarch

  1. Mix all the ingredients and set aside.
Crust

  • ½ cup All purpose flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 2 tsps Oil
Instructions
  1. Mix and make semi hard dough using cold water.
  2. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 10 minutes.
  1. On a floured surface, roll dough into about a 9 inch circle.
  2. Spread potato mixture on top, leaving 3 inch circle empty in the middle.
  3. Dab mixture evenly all around.
  4. Cut 16 triangles like pizza. Wet the empty area with water.
  5. Starting on the top wide edge, roll up the triangle to the center.
  6. Press down the sticky point.
  7. Repeat with the remaining triangles and deep-fry on medium heat until golden.
  8. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
