Ingredients
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 2 tbsps Gram flour
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Chili powder (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ¼ tsp Ajmo
  • 2 tsps Sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed to taste)
  • ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ½ tsp Garlic (crushed)
  • 2 tbsps Plain yogurt
  • Oil (for spreading)
Instructions
  1. Mix flours and oil and rub.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients and make a semi soft, pliable dough using water. (Keep in mind yogurt and vegetables will release liquid as it sits).
  3. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Make 10 equal size balls and roll thin rotis (6-8 inch diameter), using all purpose flour for dusting.
  5. Cook on griddle or frypan on medium heat.
  6. When bubbles appear, flip and brush with a little oil and flip again.
  7. Press lightly with a spatula to cook both sides until golden.
  8. Should remain soft like roti.
  9. Remove from heat and repeat with the remainder.

  • ½ cup Green fenugreek (chopped)
  • ½ cup Dudhi (grated)
  • ½ cup Spinach (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup Radish (grated)
Instructions
  1. Variation: you can mix one of the vegetables or any preferred vegetables in the flour, including mixed vegetables.
