Ingredients
  • ½ cup Wheat flour
  • ½ cup Semolina
  • ½ cup Plain yogurt
  • ¾ cup Raw potatoes (peeled and grated)
  • ½ cup Carrots (grated)
  • ¼ cup Green bell pepper (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup Tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Green chilies (crushed)
  • ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ¾ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • 1 tsp Dry limdi (crushed)
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • ¼ tsp Chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp Chili powder or to taste
  • ½ tsp Baking soda
  • Water (as needed)
  • Sesame seeds (as needed)
  • Oil (for cooking)
Instructions
  1. Combine flour, semolina, yogurt, and enough water to make a thick pourable batter.
  2. Cover and set aside for15 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients in the batter and mix.
  4. Heat a frypan on low heat, lightly grease with oil.
  5. Sprinkle some sesame seeds and pour about half a cup of batter, spread like a pancake.
  6. Cover and cook for a couple of minutes and flip to brown the other side.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter.
