Palak Paneer
Ingredients
- ½ bunch Spinach
- 2 tbsps Butter
- ¾ cup Onion (diced)
- 1 tbsp Ginger (crushed)
- 1 tbsp Garlic (crushed)
- 1½ tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ½ tsp Chili powder (or to taste)
- ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ½ cup Tomatoes (diced)
- ½ lb Paneer (cubed)
- ½ tsp Garam masala
- ½ tsp Kasuri methi
- 2 tbsps Whipping cream
Instructions
- Wash, blanch, and purée the spinach.
- In a skillet, melt butter on medium heat.
- Add onions, ginger and garlic, sauté until onions are browned.
- Add ground coriander/cumin mix, turmeric, chili powder and salt.
- Mix and add tomatoes and ½ cup of water.
- Cover and cook, stirring occasionally.
- Should become like gravy (about 15 minutes).
- Stir, cover and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
