Ingredients
  • 2 cups Kand (peeled, cubed and steamed)
  • 2 tsps Ginger (crushed)
  • 2 tbsps Peanuts (roasted and coarsely crushed)
  • ¾ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed, to taste )
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Sesame seeds (for sprinkling)
  • Green coriander (finely chopped for garnish)
Instructions
  1. In a frying pan, heat oil on medium, add cumin seeds.
  2. When crackled, add limdi and ginger.
  3. Stir and add kand and the remaining ingredients, except lemon juice.
  4. Mix and cook covered on low heat for a couple of minutes to incorporate the seasonings.
  5. Drizzle lemon juice and some water if too dry.
  6. Stir and sprinkle sesame seeds and green coriander.

  • 3 Curry leaves (limdi)
