Ingredients
  • 2 cups Green beans (sliced french style)
  • 1 cup Green peas (boiled)
  • 1 tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed, to taste)
  • ¾ tsp Garlic (crushed)
  • ¼ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ¼ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
  • ⅓ cup Water
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan heat oil on medium high for tempering.
  2. Add mustard seeds and ajmo.
  3. When crackled, add turmeric and hing. Then add beans, peas and the seasonings including green coriander.
  4. Mix thoroughly, cook for a minute then add water and stir.
  5. Cover and cook on medium heat until all the liquid is absorbed and the vegetables are cooked.
  6. Note: add ¼ C chopped tomatoes along with peas and beans if gravy is desired.

  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ⅛ tsp Asafoetida (hing)
