Ingredients
  • 2 cups Cauliflower florets (cut small and rinsed )
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • ¾ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Green chilies (crushed, to taste )
  • ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
  • ½ tsp Garlic (crushed)
  • ¼ tsp Sugar
Instructions
  1. In a frying pan, heat oil on medium high for tempering.
  2. Add mustard seeds, when crackled add turmeric, hing then cauliflower.
  3. Stir and add the seasonings, mix well.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat until soft and cooked.
  5. Stir occasionally.
  6. Variations: along with cauliflower add a choice of : ½ C boiled peas; ½ C boiled tuvar; ½ C broccoli; ¼ C sliced carrots. ¼ C tomatoes can be added with any combination.
Tempering

  • 2 tbsps Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ⅛ tsp Hing
Variations
Ingredients
  • ½ cup Peas (boiled)
  • ½ cup Tuvar
  • ½ cup Brocolli
  • ¼ cup Carrots (sliced)
  • ¼ cup Tomatoes
Instructions
  1. Along with the cauliflower, add your choice of vegetable.
  2. Tomatoes can be added to any combination.
