Sweet Tamarind (Amli) Chutney
Ingredients
- 2 tbsps Tamarind pulp
- 4 tbsps Apple butter
- 1 tbsp Jaggery (gor)
- Paste of 3 pitted dates
- ½ tsp Ground ginger
- ¼ tsp Red chili powder (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp Ground cumin
- ⅛ tsp Ground cloves
- ½ tsp Garlic (crushed)
- 1 tbsp Green coriander (chopped)
- ¼ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- Water (as needed)
Instructions
- Whisk all the ingredients together.
- Adding water as needed, boil for approximately 5 minutes to thicken. Should appear like thin syrup.
- Remove from heat to cool then store.
