Spicy Jalapeno Peppers
Ingredients
- 8 oz Jalapeno peppers
- 3 tbsps Oil
- ⅛ tsp Asafoetida (hing)
- ¾ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- 2 tsps Sugar
- 3 tbsps Raw peanuts (crushed)
- 2 tbsps Ground coriander/cumin mix
- ½ tsp Ground cumin
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ¾ tsp Garlic (crushed)
- ¼ cup Green coriander (chopped)
- ½ tsp Ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Wash peppers and cut in half lengthwise, remove seeds. Cut into1 inch squares.
- In a saucepan, heat oil on medium heat. Add peppers and all the ingredients, mix thoroughly.
- Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook until peppers are soft, stirring occasionally.
