Methia Athana
Ingredients
- Rajapur mangoes (raw)
- Salt
- Turmeric
- Athana Masala
- Peanut oil
Instructions
- Wipe and cut mangoes into desired size cubes.
- Rub salt and turmeric all over and let marinate for 2 days, tossing twice daily.
- Then spread a cloth sheet on a table and place cubes on it, making sure each cube is separated. Dry for 2 days.
- Mix with athana masala as much as desired.
- Fill in a glass jar, press down firmly.
- Bring some peanut oil to a boil, remove from the heat and let cool.
- Pour oil over the athana in the jar until the top is coated, which prevents molding.
