Ingredients
7 cups
Whole milk
1 cup
Cornstarch
1 cup
Gor
ΒΌ cup
Water
Ground cloves
(for garnish)
Khus-khus
(for garnish)
Instructions

Grease a 12 inch round/square deep tray with ghee.

Heat water in a saucepan, add gor, stir.

When melted, strain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, blend together the milk and cornstarch.

Heat on high, stirring continuously and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium and add gor (taste for desired sweetness), stir until thickened.

Test for doneness by dropping a teaspoonful of cooked batter on a tray, if it does not spread and it lifts up easily then it is done.

Also the batter will separate from the sides of the saucepan when done and will be quite thick.

Pour into the prepared tray, tap the tray to spread evenly.

Using a fine mesh strainer, sprinkle ground cloves all over the dudheli, sprinkle khus-khus.

Let cool completely.

Cut desired size diamond shapes.
