Ingredients
  • 1 lb Green peas in shell (washed and deveined)
  • 2 tbsps Oil
  • 1 tsp Ajmo
  • ¼ cup Coconut (grated, substitute desiccated)
  • ⅓ cup Raw peanuts (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Green chilies (crushed, or to taste)
  • 2 tsps Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • ½ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
Instructions
  1. In a deep frypan, heat oil on medium. Add ajmo.
  2. When crackled, add all the ingredients except peas, and sauté for 30 seconds. Add the peas and toss well.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat until almost done, toss often.
  4. Uncover and finish cooking.
  5. It should be moist and dry.
  6. Note: can add cubed potatoes, sweet potatoes and purple yam (kand). Adjust spices to taste.
