Cheeseball
Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 2 tbsps Green onions (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup Grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp Red bell pepper (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp Garlic paste
- Silvered almonds (for coating)
Instructions
- Bring cream cheese to room temperature to soften.
- Mix together the first 5 ingredients until well blended.
- Roll into a ball with the help of wax paper.
- Spread almonds on a plate and roll the cheese ball in it to coat completely.
- Place in a serving dish and refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
Note
- Any ingredients of your choice can be added to cream cheese to make a cheese ball as long as there are no juices running from the items chosen. Cheese balls can be spicy, mild, sharp, fruity, meaty, etc. Coating can be crumbled crackers, chips or any kind of nuts, sesame seeds, poppy seeds. Serve with crackers, chips or fruit. Also can be used as a sandwich spread.
