Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsps Green chilies (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
  • ¼ tsp Red chili powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp Oil
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Lightly sauté onions, garlic and chilies.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Stir and cook for 1 more minute.
  5. Set aside to cool.
Dough
Ingredients
  • 2 cups All purpose flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 2 tsps Butter (softened)
  • 2 tsps Dried yeast
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsps Water (lukewarm)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Mix yeast and sugar in lukewarm water, set aside for 10 minutes to ferment.
  3. Combine flour, salt and butter.
  4. Add yeast, mix and make a soft dough using warm water as needed.
  5. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 20 minutes in a warm place.
  6. Mix masala into the dough and knead well.
  7. Divide dough into 8 balls, place each on a greased tray.
  8. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  10. Cool and store.
