Ingredients
  • 1 cup Potato sticks (salted)
  • 1 cup Corn flakes
  • 1 cup Frosted flakes
  • 1 cup Cheerios
  • 1 cup Multigrain cereal
  • 1 cup Potato chips (salted)
  • 2 cups Rice krispies
  • 3 tbsps Oil
  • ¼ tsp Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 tbsp Golden raisins
  • 12 Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Red chili powder
  • ¾ tsp Amchur powder
  • 2 Green chilies (sliced into thin circles and fried)
  • ⅓ cup Daria (split roasted garbanzo beans)
  • ⅓ cup Peanuts (roasted, salted)
  • ⅓ cup Cashew halves (salted)
Instructions
  1. In a large dish, mix all cereals and chips together.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat oil on medium heat.
  3. Add asafoetida, raisins and curry leaves.
  4. Stir for a few seconds then add fennel seeds, daria, peanuts, cashews, chilies, salt, turmeric and chili powder and stir.
  5. Turn off heat, add amchur powder and mix well.
  6. Pour over the cereal and mix thoroughly.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
