Ingredients
  • 2 cups Thin pauva
  • ⅛ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder (more if using plain papad)
  • ½ tsp White chili powder
  • 2 Roasted papad (preferably garlic)
  • 4 tsps Oil (separated)
  • ¼ cup Raw peanuts
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsps Daria
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan heat 2 tsp oil on medium low heat and roast the pauva, stirring continuously.
  2. Add turmeric as it begins to turn golden.
  3. Add salt, mix and empty into a dish.
  4. Sprinkle sugar, garlic powder and chili powder and mix well.
  5. In the same saucepan, heat the remaining oil on low heat.
  6. Fry the peanuts, stirring until golden brown.
  7. Add curry leaves, daria and sesame seeds.
  8. Stir for a few seconds and remove from the heat.
  9. Add pauva and mix thoroughly.
  10. Break papad in small pieces and combine with the pauva mixture.
