Goba Puri
Ingredients
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- ½ cup Semolina
- 3 tbsps Oil/ghee mixture
- 1½ tsp Salt
- 1½ tsp Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds or caraway seeds
- ⅛ tsp Turmeric
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Combine oil mixture with the flour and semolina.
- Add the spices and mix.
- Using room temperature water, make a hard dough and knead to smooth.
- Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Make marble size balls and roll thin puris, about 3 inch in diameter.
- Prick each puri with a fork.
- Fry on low heat until crisp.
- Drain on a paper towel.
- Cool and store in an airtight container.
