Green Beans
Ingredients
- 2 cups Green beans (trimmed)
- 3 cloves Garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1½ cup Vegetable stock
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Slivered almonds, toasted (optional)
- Crushed red pepper (optional)
Instructions
- On medium heat, boil the beans in the stock in a deep frypan until the liquid is absorbed.
- Heat oil in another frypan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add the beans and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle almonds and crushed red pepper.
- Stir and remove from heat.
