Ingredients
  • 2 cups Green beans (trimmed)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1½ cup Vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Slivered almonds, toasted (optional)
  • Crushed red pepper (optional)
Instructions
  1. On medium heat, boil the beans in the stock in a deep frypan until the liquid is absorbed.
  2. Heat oil in another frypan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the beans and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle almonds and crushed red pepper.
  5. Stir and remove from heat.
