Ingredients
1 cup
Wheat flour
2 Tbsps
Oil
Salt
(optional - to taste)
1 tsp
Ground cumin
(optional)
½ tsp
Cumin seeds
Ghee
(for cooking)
Instructions

Combine the ingredients and make a firm pliable dough, using hot water. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.

Divide into 5 balls and roll thick circles about 6 inch diameter.

Heat griddle on medium, place bhakhri and cook until raw dough is not visible underneath.

Flip and let roast until brown spots appear underneath.

Spread ghee on the bhakhri and flip, put light pressure on it with a spatula to help puff. Let roast for one minute, turning as needed to prevent burning.

Remove from heat. Repeat with the remaining balls.
