Ingredients
  • Mangos
  • Salt
  • Ground cumin
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)
Instructions
  1. Carefully roll mangoes on a hard surface to loosen the pulp, additionally press gently with your thumb, all over the mango.
  2. Place a fine mesh strainer on a container. Remove stem from the mango and squeeze the pulp and the pit out from the top into the strainer.
  3. Scrape any pulp left in the skin. With a ladle, scrape and discard the pit.
  4. Using the back of the ladle, rub the pulp through the strainer. Discard stringy residue.
  5. Whisk pulp with a hand blender to make smooth. Chill.
  6. When serving sprinkle salt and ground cumin, if desired.
  7. You can also whisk some vanilla ice cream in the pulp.
