Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mashed kand (purple yam)
  • ⅓ cup Ghee
  • ⅓ cup Sugar (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp Ground cardamom
  • 4 Almonds (sliced - garnish)
Instructions
  1. Peal, steam and mash kand.
  2. In a saucepan, melt ghee on low. Add kand.
  3. Stir continuously until the ghee begins to separate and the kand is smooth.
  4. Add sugar and cardamom, adjust quantity to taste. Stir until thickened.
  5. Sprinkle sliced almonds, stir and remove from heat.
