Single Pastry Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 1¼ cup All purpose flour
- ½ cup Unsalted butter
- ½ tsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ cup Ice water
- 9 inch pie dish
Instructions
- Preheat oven 375°F.
- Combine flour, butter, sugar and salt in a food processor, mix.
- Gently pour water to form a ball as you process.
- Remove onto a floured surface.
- Roll the ball with a rolling pin into a 12 inch circle (to fit a 9 inch pie dish).
- Place pastry in the dish and prick the crust.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until light brown.
