Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- 2¾ cups All purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1 cup Butter
- 1½ cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl combine flour, baking soda and baking powder.
- In another large bowl cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Gradually blend in flour.
- Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden.
- Let stand for a couple of minutes then move to a cooling rack to cool.
