Ingredients
  • 1 cup Jowar flour
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Boil water in a saucepan. Lower heat and add flour, stir until it forms a dough.
  2. Divide dough into 4 balls. Take one ball, flatten slightly and coat with dry jowar flour. Using a rolling pin, roll into a circle of about 5-6 inches in diameter.
  3. Place on a hot griddle, brush top with water to prevent cracks.
  4. Cook for 1 minute, flip over, lower heat to medium and cook until brown spots appear underneath.
  5. Turn over and cook on an open flame to puff, or leave on griddle and gently press with a clean cloth to help puff.
  6. Remove from heat and apply butter or ghee.
  7. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  8. NOTE: for a perfect circle, cut with any correct size lid.
