Makki Roti

Ingredients
- 1 cup Yellow cornmeal (fine)
- ¼ tsp Salt
- Water (hot)
- Butter or Ghee (for coating)
Instructions
- Combine salt and flour, use hot water to bind and make soft dough. Knead well.
- Cover and set aside for ½ hour.
- Divide dough into 5 equal balls, press each between two pieces of plastic to a 5 inch diameter circle or dab with a wet hand.
- Heat a frypan on medium heat, place roti and cook.
- When bubbles appear, flip, drizzle ghee around the edges and cook until brown spots are visible underneath.
- Roti should puff up partially or fully.
- Remove and butter the tops, serve hot.
