Skillet Chicken
Ingredients
- 5 pieces Bone-in chicken
- 1 cup Plain yogurt
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsps Garam masala
- 2 tbsps Ground fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Curry powder
- 1 tbsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
- 1 tsp Ground raw peanuts
- 2 tbsps Ginger (crushed)
- 2 tsps Garlic (crushed)
- 1 tsp Green chillies (crushed)
- 1 tsp Dried mint
- ½ cup Tomatoes (crushed)
- 1 cup Onion (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
- 3 tbsps Oil
- 2 tbsps Ghee
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except the chicken.
- Add chicken and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
- Heat oil and ghee in a large skillet on medium heat.
- Add marinated chicken.
- Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Add some water if more gravy is required.
