Chicken (or Potatoes) Tikka On Skewers
Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
- ¼ cup Plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1½ tsp Ground coriander/cumin mix
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 2 tsps Lemon juice
- ¾ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients with chicken and marinate for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Prepare skewers by placing chicken and vegetables alternately.
- Place the skewers on a rack, with a tray underneath and bake for 10 minutes.
- Flip and bake for another 15 minutes or until cooked.
- VARIATIONS: In place of baking, you can also cook on a barbecue.
- Replace chicken with peeled/steamed baby potatoes (dipped in a mixture of some oil, salt, ground black pepper, chili powder and dill.
