Mamna (Meat Balls)
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground chicken
- ¼ tsp Red chili powder (or to taste)
- ¾ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 2 tsps Ginger (crushed)
- 1 tsp Garlic (crushed)
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tsps Ground coriander/cumin mix
- 2 tsps Green chilies (crushed or to taste)
- 2 tbsps green coriander (finely chopped)
- Oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients.
- Make small oval shaped balls.
- Drizzle a little oil in a skillet and cook on low medium heat until the chicken is cooked and no longer pink.
Dip for Mamna
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- ¼ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp Ground cumin
- ½ tsp Red chili powder
- ½ tsp Mint sauce (substitute dry mint powder)
- 1 tbsp Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tsps Desiccated coconut
- 2 tsps Green coriander (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Makes: ¼ cup
- Mix all ingredients.
- Add 2 tablespoons of water to make the sauce.
