Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsps Green chilies (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup Green coriander (finely chopped)
  • ¼ tsp Red chili powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp Oil
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Lightly sauté onions, garlic and chilies.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Stir and cook for 1 more minute.
  5. Set aside to cool.
Dough
Ingredients
  • 2 cups All purpose flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 2 tsps Butter (softened)
  • 2 tsps Dried yeast
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsps Water (lukewarm)
Instructions
  1. Mix yeast and sugar in lukewarm water, set aside for 10 minutes to ferment.
  2. Combine flour, salt and butter.
  3. Add yeast, mix and make a soft dough using warm water as needed.
  4. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 20 minutes in a warm place.
  5. Mix masala into the dough and knead well.
  6. Divide dough into 8 balls, place each on a greased tray.
  7. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
  8. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  10. Cool and store.
