Ingredients
  • 4 tbsps Olive oil
  • 2 cups Finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsps Crushed garlic
  • ¼ cup Finely chopped carrots
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Ground black pepper
  • 2 cans Crushed tomatoes (28 oz can)
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • ½ tsp Basil (dried)
  • ½ tsp Thyme (dried)
  • ½ tsp Oregano (dried)
  • ½ tsp Rosemary (dried)
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, heat oil.
  2. Add onions and garlic, sauté until transparent.
  3. Add carrots, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook until carrots are soft.
  5. Add tomatoes, bay leaves, and herbs.
  6. Stir and simmer on low heat until thick.
  7. Remove from heat, discard bay leaves and let cool.
