Marinara Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 tbsps Olive oil
- 2 cups Finely chopped onion
- 2 tsps Crushed garlic
- ¼ cup Finely chopped carrots
- ½ tsp Sea salt
- ½ tsp Ground black pepper
- 2 cans Crushed tomatoes (28 oz can)
- 2 Bay leaves
- ½ tsp Basil (dried)
- ½ tsp Thyme (dried)
- ½ tsp Oregano (dried)
- ½ tsp Rosemary (dried)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat oil.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until transparent.
- Add carrots, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until carrots are soft.
- Add tomatoes, bay leaves, and herbs.
- Stir and simmer on low heat until thick.
- Remove from heat, discard bay leaves and let cool.
