White Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tbsps Butter
- 2 tbsps All purpose flour
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- ⅛ tsp Ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt butter on medium heat.
- Add flour and salt, whisk until smooth (this is called a roux).
- Gradually add milk and continuously whisk until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Add pepper, mix and remove from heat.
- Note: Adjust the milk quantity for desired consistency of the sauce.
