Bhakri Ladoo

Ingredients
- 2 cups roti (wheat flour)
- 10 tbsps ghee (melted - separated)
- ¾ cup Gor (or to taste)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour and 4 tbsp ghee. Add warm water gradually to make a semi soft dough.
- Cover and set aside for 15 minutes
- Make 6 equal size balls from the dough and roll ⅛ inch thick circles.
- Cook on low heat on a griddle, flipping a couple of times until done.
- When cool enough to handle, crumble into tiny granules by hand or in a food processor.
- In a saucepan, melt the remaining ghee, on low heat, add gor. Melt, stirring continuously, it will look frothy,
- Add the bhakri crumbs and stir to mix thoroughly, remove from heat.
- Let cool slightly, make balls to desired size.
- NOTE: use a piece of plastic wrap, place about ¼ cup of mixture and twist tight and press to make a ball.
- Optional: mix some roasted ground unsalted peanuts or a teaspoon of ground cardamom in the crumbs.
