Sago Sev
Ingredients
- 2 cups Tapioca
- 8 medium Potatoes
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp White chili powder
- 2 tbsps Ginger (crushed)
- 1½ tsp Salt
Instructions
- Soak the tapioca for 4 hours.
- Drain and steam, wrapped in a cloth for 15 minutes.
- Boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
- Mix all the ingredients together to form a dough.
- Prepare a table outside covered with a cotton sheet.
- Spray oil in the sev machine with a star-shaped disk installed.
- Fill the dough and close the lid.
- Make long strips of the dough on the cloth.
- Let dry, then break into 2 inch pieces.
- Let cool, then store in an airtight container.
- Fry as needed in hot oil.
