Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat flour (substitute - all purpose flour or mix 2 flours equally)
- 1 tbsp Semolina
- 5 tsps Melted ghee
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Combine ingredients and make a firm dough, using warm water. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Make about 12-14 equal size balls and roll 3 inch diameter puris.
- Heat oil on medium-high heat and deep-fry puris until pinkish in appearance on both sides and puffed.
- Press puris, gently, with a skimmer to aid in puffing.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
