Ingredients
  • 1 cup Wheat flour (substitute - all purpose flour or mix 2 flours equally)
  • 1 tbsp Semolina
  • 5 tsps Melted ghee
  • Oil (for frying)
Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients and make a firm dough, using warm water. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Make about 12-14 equal size balls and roll 3 inch diameter puris.
  3. Heat oil on medium-high heat and deep-fry puris until pinkish in appearance on both sides and puffed.
  4. Press puris, gently, with a skimmer to aid in puffing.
  5. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
