Mori Dar
Ingredients
- ½ cup Tuvar dal (washed)
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ⅛ tsp Turmeric
- ⅛ tsp Asafoetida (hing)
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
- Add dal, salt and turmeric, stir and lower heat.
- Cover and simmer until cooked and the water is absorbed.
- Add more water if needed, dar should be thick pouring consistency.
- Add asafoetida, mix then remove from heat.
- Note: can pressure cook for 4 whistles, let cool before opening.
