Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ cup Water
- ¼ cup Soy sauce (substitute tamari)
- 2 tbsps Brown sugar
- 2 tsps Honey
- 1½ tsp Ginger paste
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Mirin (substitute rice wine vinegar )
- 1 tsp Cornstarch (dissolve in 2 tbsp water)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients except corn starch mixture.
- Heat on medium, bring to a boil then reduce heat to low.
- Add cornstarch and stir until sauce is thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, let cool and store.
