Chinese Bhel
Ingredients
- 4 tbsps Sesame oil
- 2 tsps Ginger (crushed)
- 2 tsps Garlic (crushed)
- ½ cup Green bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ cup Cabbage (shredded)
- ½ cup Carrots (grated)
- 2 tbsps Green beans (chopped)
- ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
- 2 tbsps Chili sauce
- 2 tbsps Ketchup
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- ½ tsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Cornstarch (mix with 2 tbsp water)
- 5 Manchurian balls (fried, recipe under vegetable manchurian, optional)
- 2 cups Boiled Hakka noodles (fry 1 C of the boiled noodles )
- 1 cup Green onions (finely chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a wok, heat oil on high heat, add ginger and garlic.
- Sauté for a few seconds then add vegetables.
- Mix and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add 1 cup boiled noodles, salt, chili sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, cornstarch and mix thoroughly.
- Combine manchurian balls, ½ cup fried noodles and green onions in the bhel, turn the heat off.
- Serve, garnished with the remaining fried noodles and green onions.
