Flour Tortillas
Ingredients
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 tbsps Oil
- Water (lukewarm-as needed)
Instructions
- Combine flour, salt and oil. Gradually add water to make a soft dough.
- Knead for a couple of minutes to make a soft, pliable dough.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Divide dough into 10-12 balls, depending on desired size.
- Flatten the ball and roll a thin tortilla on a floured surface.
- Heat a frypan on medium heat, place tortilla to cook. When bubbles form, flip and cook the other side for 1 minute.
- The tortilla should look dry and not look raw. Place on a plate and cover with a towel.
- Repeat with the remaining dough. Store in an airtight container.
