Ingredients
  • 1 lb Tomatillos (peeled, washed & halved)
  • 1 Onion (medium, peeled & quartered)
  • 1 Serrano or jalapeño pepper (halved lengthwise)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (unpeeled)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsps Cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Ground black pepper
  • 2 tsps Lime juice
  • 1 cup Green corainder (chopped)
Instructions
  1. Preheat broiler on medium.
  2. Arrange tomatillos, onions, pepper and garlic on a baking tray. Drizzle oil and broil until slightly charred.
  3. Remove skin from the garlic and pepper and place in a food processor along with the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Store.
